Team overviews
Men's First Team
City of Manchester men’s first team is one of the UK’s most successful squads competing at the highest level in the British Water Polo League and representing the club in European tournaments including the Nordic League. The team has a proud history of league titles and Champion Cup victories and continues to set the standard for elite water polo.
Women's First Team
Manchester Women’s 1st team is one of the most dominant forces in British water polo, consistently winning top honours in the British Water Polo League, including multiple consecutive Super 5s titles and excelling in European competitions like the Challenger Cup and Nordic League. Many players represent GB on the international stage including the World Championships.
Hawks
Manchester Hawks are City of Manchester’s senior men’s development team and have a proud history of nurturing junior players. Frequently Hawks’ players will go onto represent the CoM first team or the national GB team.
Junior Squad
The junior squad covers boys and girls in the age groups from U13 – U19, and is recognised as one of the strongest development pathways in the UK. The squads consistently excel in competitions including recent U15 and U19 national titles. Many of the juniors are part of GB squads reflecting the clubs commitment to nurture talent.
The club is always well represented in the Inter Regional squads.
Many of our players are selected to join the National Academy/Talent Centre programmes and go on to represent their country at junior level in Europe.
