On 24th September 2022 our City of Manchester Water Polo Club Comet’s team played Welsh Wanderers at Ponds Forge in British Water Polo League Division 3. With an average age of 17.5 years the team won 14-5.
Congratulations to Sarah who scored 4 on her debut for the Comets. Well played everyone and thanks to coaches Izzy and Matt!
The Comets second match of the season saw another convincing 11 -2 win against Southampton which was described by Team Manager, Nat, as a great all-round Team performance, particularly in defence. As Coach Izzy was playing for the senior team, Matt shouldered all the coaching responsibilities. Great performance from everyone and a 4 out of 4 for City of Manchester Water Polo Club over the weekend.
