We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievement of the seven Manchester players who proudly represented Great Britain at the World Championships in Singapore as part of the GB Women’s Team.
Competing on the world stage, the team finished in an impressive 11th place, facing off against some of the toughest opposition in the sport, including the reigning Olympic Champions, Spain. The squad showcased not only resilience and determination but also the bright future of British water polo, with many young players stepping up and delivering standout performances.
A special shoutout goes to Manchester’s own Head Coach, Theo, who led the team with passion and skill,. His leadership was instrumental in guiding the team through an exciting and inspiring competition.

The entire club is incredibly proud of the GB Women’s team for their fantastic performance on the world stage – their hard work brought pride to the nation and excitement for the future of the sport.
We’re especially thrilled to celebrate the seven Manchester players and our very own Head Coach Theo, whose leadership and commitment were key to the team’s success. Their contribution reflects the strength and spirit of the City of Manchester Water Polo Club, and we couldn’t be prouder.
